MODULE 2 - Creating Viral Content

Choose the right social media platform to reach your target audience and create content that will help you grow a following. Model what's worked in the past, test it, and make adjustments to create content that gets shared.

MODULE 3 - Facebook

Facebook is still the biggest social network, and the fastest and easiest platform to grow an audience. When used correctly, Facebook Ads can be used to test content and grow a following on any social media platform.

MODULE 4 - Instagram

Organic reach and engagement generally tends to be higher on Instagram than Facebook. Instagram’s algorithm favors fresh new content, so getting a lot of engagement as soon you post can help increase your reach.

MODULE 5 - YouTube

YouTube is a little different from social networks like Facebook and Instagram. Not only is YouTube a social media platform, it’s also a search engine, and a streaming platform. Additionally, YouTube is one of the fastest and easiest ways to get your music in front of new audiences.

MODULE 6 - TikTok

While it's mostly popular with audiences under the age of 25, older audiences are beginning to use the platform as well. The type of content that’s being posted on TikTok creates a unique opportunity for you to get more exposure for your music.

MODULE 7 - Spotify

Spotify is of course a bit different from social media, but we can still apply a lot of the principles we’ve discussed here to growing your following on Spotify.
