Cover songs are one of the best ways to promote your own music and yourself as an artist.

There are 2 main reasons why you should consider using cover songs to promote your music.

1.) They're instantly more engaging to a new audience. It can sometimes take new fans a little time to warm up to you. That's just how it is. It could take a few listens to convert a listener into a fan.

Cover songs help to expedite that process. People get excited about the songs they know and love. Playing cover versions of popular songs can pull people in that may normally not give your music a second listen.

2.) People are already online searching for popular songs by name. Uploading your own versions of popular songs can help you step in front of fans that are already searching for the songs online.
