JamMob Guest Blogger Guidelines
Who Writes For The JamMob Music Marketing Blog? The people that write for the JamMob Music Marketing Blog are innovators and thought leaders in the music industry. |
If you're a professional musician, a music marketer, or an ambitious journalist, you're just who we're looking for. If you have insight to share with "do-it-yourself" musicians and other music marketers, we want to hear from you!
In short, we're looking for people that are actively seeking out new ways to market music and the artists that create it. More than that, we're looking for people that want to share their insights with like-minded people.
What we're not looking for: excellent freelance writers that have no interest or passion for music marketing.
What Do We Write About?
We write about the following topics as they relate to musicians and the music industry:
- Concert Promotion and Touring
- Mobile Marketing
- Email Marketing
- Social Media
- Radio
- Publishing
- General Music Marketing
In addition to tips and advice, we encourage you to share personal anecdotes, experiences, and stories. We love anything that helps the audience relate more to our writers, while still keeping the general focus on the topics mentioned above.
Post Quality
Post should contain exactly how many words it takes to get your point across so that it's easily understood by the reader. No more, no less.
Our main goal is to provide readers with valuable information, and it's important that the information is easy to understand and clearly communicated. There's no point in being overly wordy just for the sake of it. Just like there's no point in writing a short article that doesn't really contain any real value.
What's In It For You?
The JamMob Blog is the perfect place for you to build your reputation in the music industry. We want you to be a part of the ever evolving community of music marketers that gather here daily to discuss what's new and relevant in the music industry.
We want you to be able to join us to share your stories and insights. We'll provide you the opportunity to link back to your own blog, website, or social profile, and we'll use our social influence to make you feel like a celebrity.
It must be said that we are interested in YOU, your stories and insights... not your products and services. This is not an opportunity to create a sales letter on our site. The primary goal of your posts should be to give value to the reader, not to sell something.
In addition to linking your article back to your own website in your author bio, you'll be plugging into an active community of music marketers that visit the site daily for the latest industry tips and trends.
